A tribute to Aminé's time as a student at Benson Polytechnic High School and the KBPS radio program.
We can often trace life’s most pivotal moments back to a specific time and place. For Aminé, that’s his time at Benson. The only high school in Portland offering career training in fields like construction, health, design, and radio, it was here that Aminé first began experimenting with music. Soon after joining the school’s radio station, KBPS, he quickly became inspired to write, rap, and record— and with the mentorship of his teachers was able to start honing his skills into the songwriter he is today.
Without Benson, There would be no Aminé and no New Balance collaboration.
